The Mill Creative was founded by maker/designer Elliott Stevens. Based in Central California, we use a combination of local, sustainably salvaged and new materials. The Mill employs both modern and vintage techniques dependent on the project.

How to Start A Project

Each piece begins with a concept.

At The Mill, we understand that not everyone can easily design a piece that fits their vision. With a free consultation, the client will receive what we call Design Concept Assistance. Here, we will help to uncover the basic needs of the client, including sizing, material, aesthetic, functionality, and delivery date(s). In order to achieve this, a site visit is recommended.

On Pricing

Pricing is based primarily on two things: The complexity of the project and the type of material used. The Mill provides each client with a free quote based on the initial design concept. Once commissioned, The Mill will provide complementary design assist services.
